Escaping under our oak tree Was all that I needed. But the now the cold wind keeps blowing This hole right through my chest And the effort is never there. And it just keeps dragging on. this door creaks open way too loudly, Watch me dragging slowly. And I have no feeling In my toes or fingers and It’s killing me softly. So I’m falling to my knees, Because inside my head it seems, That I’m not going to make it. but right now, I need to .
